Your Massage
After I leave the room, lie face down on the massage table. You will cover yourself with a sheet. Modesty draping will only uncover the area being massaged and a warm massage oil will be used.

With the warmth of a Fireplace in a dimly lit room and soft relaxing music in the air, allow yourself to let go on a mini-vacation away from the rest of the world! Your experience will include an Intuitive Massage filled with Reiki energy.  Massage pressure will be light at first and then gradually deeper pressure will melt away your soreness and tension. Feedback from you will help me do the best work. Afterwards you'll be relaxed but energized, ready to confidently face the world.

General Benefits of Massage
Massage has been used for centuries -- for reduction of muscle soreness and for relaxation. It really works! It has been with us since the ancients. It was already old when Hippocrates (460-380 B.C.), the Father of medicine, used massage on his patients, and encouraged doctors to use massage as a healing remedy. Oriental cultures developed techniques -- amma and shiatsu; India, Greece, and Rome devised their own styles, and the Swedes combined the best methods from several sources. Massage is especially valid today, in our complex, hectic modern world!

Stress can contribute to illness; reduction of stress should be a personal priority. Stress reduction is one of the major benefits of massage.

Regular massage, regular physical workouts, stretching and good nutrition are the best natural medicine.
